Opportunity:

RN - SBH : RNLVL4 : OR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM as needed
• Required to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Guaranteed 34.5 hours after breaks
• Must scrub and circulate
• Scrubs will be provided
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• 2 years or more of OR experience preferred
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Provide 1:1 patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Care for patients from neonate through geriatric populations
• Handle cases including General surgery, Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, Endoscopy, and GYN
• Demonstrate knowledge of anesthetic drugs, actions and side effects
• Perform pre-op and post-op patient care
• Execute proper circulating duties including emergency situations
• Maintain sterile field and perform surgical counts per standards
• Handle surgical specimens, cultures, and blood products
• Operate mechanical, electrical, and powered equipment safely
• Communicate continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists
