Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work ICU day/night rotation shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position with day/night/weekend and holiday rotation schedule
• Contract must run through holiday season with no guaranteed requested time off for 3 major holidays
• New York State registered professional nurse license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA/RQI only), NIHSS
• Must obtain Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
• Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years
• TNCC certification recommended within 2 years
• Demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with patients and staff
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record experience preferred
• Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Healing Environment principles
