RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Acute Care Med Surg

Job Details:

• Part-time position requiring 24 hours plus 2 on-call shifts within a 4-week period
• Rotational schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Provide care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions
• Apply nursing knowledge and technical skills in delivering compassionate patient care
• Assess patient and family needs, develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes
• Conduct patient and family education to assist with self-care beyond hospitalization
• Promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment
• Demonstrate skills in medication administration and various nursing interventions
• Required certifications: NYS RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required
• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated
