Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM EST
• No holiday or on-call requirements
• Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level without direct supervision
• Prepare rooms, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies for patient procedures
• Clean and disinfect radiographic rooms and equipment
• Explain procedures to patients and assist them throughout examinations
• Follow prescribed techniques to obtain diagnostic images
• Utilize HIS/PACS/RIS software programs competently
• Print exams on film as needed and participate in department quality assurance programs
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, reporting unusual occurrences
• Maintain stock supplies and perform general office duties
• Active movement throughout workday including standing, sitting, pivoting, and walking
• Work in OR-like environment with close interactions with nurses and providers
• Procedures primarily involve spinal injections and ablations
• Graduate of accredited radiology technology program required
• Licensed by New York State Department of Health required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification required
• Two years of experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• C-Arm procedure experience preferred
• Flexibility to work overtime including evenings and weekends as needed
