Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts: Friday 10:30 AM to midnight, Saturday 8:00 AM to midnight, Sunday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 36 hours preferred, would consider 40 hours
• On-call responsibilities with 2-3 call shifts per month
• Must be able to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts
• Callback and holiday coverage per unit needs
• Recent OR experience at a trauma 1 center required
• Experience using c-arm/o-arm equipment within the past 8 months required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• 2 years of X-ray Technologist experience required
• Completion of formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• NYS license required or ability to obtain prior to starting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• Verify patient identity and review physician orders before procedures
• Use x-ray equipment to take radiographic images per physician orders
• Position patients appropriately, including lifting and moving patients with limited mobility
• Handle all radiologic equipment safely while keeping patient dose as low as possible
• Produce diagnostic, high quality images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper image identification
• Ability to stand for extended periods and excellent analytical skills required
