Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend days Saturday, Sunday, and Monday holidays from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call and callback responsibilities per unit needs
• Two years of MRI experience required
• Must have GE scanner experience to be considered
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• ARRT certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
• NYS Rad Tech license must be obtained after starting
• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology required
• Operate MRI machine efficiently and safely
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Perform patient care tasks as needed
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
