Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday holidays
• On-call and callback availability required per unit needs
• Two years of MRI technologist experience required
• MUST have GE scanner experience to be considered
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association ONLY required
• MUST have injection certification to be considered
• Certification through ARRT or similar organization preferred
• NYS Rad Tech license required - must be willing to obtain after starting
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient information confidentiality
• Perform patient care tasks as needed
• Must be familiar with medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods required
