RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Level 2 RN position requiring chemotherapy certification
• Must work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• May be requested to work extra shifts to accommodate chemotherapy patients
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must have Epic EMR experience
• BLS certification required
• Create individualized care plans for patients under supervision and care
• Recognize and treat cancer-related issues
• Collaborate with healthcare team to share expertise and knowledge
• Conduct cancer research to enhance treatment protocols
• Provide supportive resources to patients and families
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment expectations
• Monitor and document patient progress continuously
• Chart patient response to treatment and medication
