Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with some procedures potentially extending to 4:30 PM EST
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT with precision and clinical expertise
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety at all times
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radio pharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines
• Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Partner with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols
• Perform SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, and hybrid SPECT resting studies followed by PET sarcoid or viability studies
• Required qualifications: 2 years of Nuclear Med experience, 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
• Required certifications: NYS Rad Tech License, NMTCB or ARRT(N), ARRT Certification with CE credits, BLS Certification
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
