Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour shifts per week
• On-call, callback, and holiday coverage per unit needs
• 5-7 call shifts per 7-week time block (2-4 weekend call shifts)
• 6-month contracts will be considered
• Select exposure factors and positioning to produce diagnostic quality radiologic images
• Instruct and prepare patients for examinations
• Assist radiologist during interventional procedures
• Operate all equipment competently and report malfunctions to management
• Complete assigned procedures in timely manner
• Maintain medication security for authorized personnel only
• Provide healthcare services to all age groups
• Use Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS
• Answer technical telephone inquiries from physicians and hospital personnel
• Required: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), 2 years experience, NYS License, ARRT certification
• Preferred: VIR Certified
• Must demonstrate competency in interventional radiology procedures
