RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week in a 19-bed emergency department plus 4-bed psychiatric pod
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios
• Float to psychiatric pod or other Parkridge system emergency departments as needed (Parkridge East, Main, and North)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, active RN license
• Must demonstrate strong sepsis and stroke skillsets
• Work with equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillators
• Document using Meditech system
• Required uniform: Navy scrubs
• Unit staffing includes day and night secretaries, and Monday-Friday day and night technicians
• Work in chest pain and stroke certified facility
