Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in cardiac catheterization laboratory with 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, Director, 4 staff members per room, 16 total per shift
• Night shift operates on-call team with 3 members per call team, 7 total
• On-call responsibilities are frequent - must be flexible and adapt to unit needs
• Work with all GE equipment rooms and GE Innova systems
• Use Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT
• Must be competent in Special Procedures and GE Innova
• RCIS certification preferred
• Perform typical procedures including cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing
• Fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking skills and patient care focus
• Must be a team player able to work with close-knit team
• Dress code requires red and gray scrubs in Cath and EP Labs (unit scrubs available)
