RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts Monday - Thursday
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• No weekends, no holidays
• No call requirements
• 12-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratios
• 3+ years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS/ACLS
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• Must work in rapid-paced environment and navigate multiple computer systems
• Provide post-operative care for overnight patients who had surgery during the day
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Perform direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Must have good problem-solving skills and ability to provide quality post-op care
• Ability to work well in team environment while also working independently
• This is NOT a PACU position - caring for overnight surgical patients
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
