RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Work in 26-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit (Tower A)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Work with pacemakers and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Self-scheduling available
• Weekend requirements: 3 weekend shifts in 4-week period for day shift; 4 weekend shifts in 4-week period for night shift
• No on-call requirements
• Float to Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and OSS units as needed
• Telemetry experience required
• Background managing cardiac patients post-procedure preferred
• Perform titration of IV medications (cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.)
• Dress code: Royal blue scrub top with black pants
• Work alongside charge nurse, bedside nurses, patient care technicians, and unit secretary
• Follow hospital-wide policies and procedures
