RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Position eligible for 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department on the first floor of the main building
• Patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume)
• Use cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, Lifepak, and other emergency equipment
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI
• Dress code requires gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms
• Appropriate colored t-shirts allowed under nursing scrub jacket or hospital approved jacket
• Must demonstrate adaptability and be a team player
• Previous high pressure and medical experience preferred
• Outgoing and positive personality under pressure essential
• Work alongside CNC, team leads, RNs, advanced paramedics, EDT, MHSC, and secretary staff
