RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Emergency Department setting with 14 ED beds, 6 bed observation unit, and 5 bed VTA
• Patient ratios of 4:1 extending to 6:1 when necessary
• Every other weekend schedule required with no on-call responsibilities
• Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4 RN, 1 Medic, 1 Tech/UC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4 RN, 1 Medic, 1 Tech/UC
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, active nursing license
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC
• Must have experience with Meditech EMR system
• Work with medical equipment including monitors, pumps, dynamap, EKG, rapid infuser, ultrasound, and other ED equipment
• Float between main campus and FSED locations
• Must thrive in fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong teamwork skills
• Dress code requires teal scrubs
• Perform typical emergency department procedures and patient care
