RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements unless sent home during shift due to low census
• Must be available to end of regular scheduled shift for possible admits
• Float requirements include NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds ED based on patient volumes
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience post orientation required
• Must be ventilator trained and competent
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS from AHA only, TNCC or PCAR
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Current RN license meeting Missouri criteria or currently licensed in Missouri
• Patient ratios not guaranteed: Vented/critical patients 1:1, ICU status 2:1, floor status 3:1 based on acuity
• 12-bed unit caring for respiratory, surgical, trauma/burn, neurosurgery, sepsis, hematology/oncology, and endocrinology patients
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs or pediatric appropriate t-shirt with black scrub pants
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift with full week availability required
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time, lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.
