RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 26-week assignment length
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• Weekend requirements: every other weekend as required by facility
• No call requirements
• 30-bed orthopedic unit with 1:6 patient ratios
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• 2 years orthopedic inpatient experience required
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Care for medical patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities
• Dress code: black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination required November 1 - April 1 with no declinations accepted
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting with assistance
• Must demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and flexibility
