RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) providing critical care nursing
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend rotating schedule, no call requirements
• Minimum 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (CCRN preferred)
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Work with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Perform procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
• Assignments made according to patient acuity and nursing skills
• Floating to other units as needed
• Dress code requirements: Royal blue scrubs, no artificial nails, neat and clean appearance, hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, body art covered when possible, no visible piercings except ears
