RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position is a travel backfill assignment
• Work on Transplant/Stepdown unit with 34 beds
• Maintain 1:3-4 patient ratios
• Must have Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
• Experience caring for patients with Heparin drips and PCA pumps required
• Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Experience with solid organ transplant patients (kidney, liver, or pancreas) preferred
• Perform wound/drain care including wound vac, chest tube, and JP drain management
• Work with equipment including bladder scanners, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machines, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, WOWs, Hoyer lifts, Sara Stedy lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must be reliable, adaptable, and able to multi-task effectively
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required
• Work alongside charge RN and 2-3 PCTs per shift
