RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on 3 South CVT (Cardiovascular Telemetry) unit with 22 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to float to IMU and any med/surg telemetry units
• Must wear royal blue scrubs
• Work with Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machine, Dash Bedside Monitor, Telemetry, and BiPAP equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have experience with administering and monitoring IV cardiac drips (Diltiazem and Amiodarone)
• Must have basic ECG rhythm interpretation skills
• Must have experience with management of continuous BiPAP
• Must have post cardiac catheterization/stent implant management experience
• Preferred experience with acute cardiac care and acute stroke care
• Typical day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 4-5 nurses, and 2 PCTs with 1 Unit Secretary
