RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Seasonal travel position for Telemetry nursing
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work on the 9th floor in the Acute Care Specialty Unit (ASCU)
• 29-bed unit with patient ratios of approximately 1:6 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Work alongside 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs per night shift
• Operate PCA pumps and IV pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Perform procedures involving central lines and medication drips
• BLS certification required
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
• Must be engaged and able to work effectively in fast-paced environment
