RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in 8-bed Intensive Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios
• Mixed patient population in open ICU setting with goal staffing of 4 RNs 24/7
• Self-scheduling encouraged with every other weekend requirement
• Overtime available if needed with flexible scheduling options
• May float to critical care or intermediate care areas when needed
• Medical and Surgical ICU experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• IABP experience and CCRN certification preferred
• Professional scrubs and appearance required at all times (specific color not required)
• Work with GE B650 cardiac monitors, ventilators, and Gaymar cooling equipment
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Perform ventilator care, therapeutic hypothermia, PCI/STEMI, IABP procedures
• Handle invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE/cardioversion, temporary pacing
• Manage sepsis, stroke/TPA, and DKA cases
• Serve as responder for Code Blue and Rapid Response Team
• Participate in AIDET validation during orientation
• Focus on nurse communication, white board use, hourly rounding, and bedside care conferences
