RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Float requirements as needed within scope
• Willingness for occasional charge nurse responsibilities required
• Minimum 1 year inpatient acute care experience with Med Surg and Neuro required
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• FIT test required on site
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs
• Care for neuro-surgical patients including stroke, seizures, MS, back/head/spinal and other neurological diagnoses
• Utilize nursing process to provide patient care and coordinate with other departments
• Maintain professional accountability and evaluate care provided by other caregivers
• Expected to work every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday
• Contract duration of 13-26 weeks available
