RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and rotating holidays
• 36-bed medical unit with patient ratios of 1:6, occasionally 1:7 with surge
• Self-scheduling available with leadership oversight for schedule balance
• Float to same level of care units as needed
• 2 years of hospital experience required
• Must have active compact nursing license at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS and IV certification
• Work with telemetry equipment and Meditech Expanse documentation system
• Unit secretary available on day shift only, LNAs available for both shifts
• Perform procedures including CBI, wound care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson Pratt), foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs as needed
• Participate in bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounding, and personal connections with patients
• Dress code: scrubs in any color
