Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - PICU
Job Details:
• Work in a 9-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) with stepdown capabilities
• Patient ratios: 1 RN to 1-2 patients in PICU; 1 RN to 2-3 patients in stepdown
• Must work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
• Self-scheduling available
• Float to pediatrics and NICU as needed
• Required certification: PALS
• Must have 1 year PICU experience
• Dress code: All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops
• Use Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system
• Perform procedures including IV starts, catheter insertions, assisting with lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management
• Work alongside Health Unit Coordinator (9 AM - 9 PM) and shared tech support with PICU

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
