RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts required every 4 weeks
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios for CCU patients
• Work with 20-bed critical care unit
• Must have 1 year critical care experience required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH certification required
• Meditech experience required
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Work with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Document using Meditech system
• Unit secretary available on days and nights with occasional tech help
• Contract labor floats before core staff
• Must be able to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
• Perform bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol procedures
• Work in highest level of care unit in Sumner County with flexible scheduling options
