RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed Critical Care Unit with 2:1 patient ratios
• 36 hours per week schedule requirement
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week period
• Minimum 1 year critical care experience required
• ACLS and NIH certification required
• Meditech experience required
• Must wear black scrubs uniform
• Work with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular & vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
• Participate in bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocols
• Contract labor floats before core staff
• Unit secretary available on days and nights with occasional tech help
• Flexible schedule options available
