RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week at a free-standing emergency department
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in an 11-bed emergency room setting
• Minimum of 1 year ER experience required
• Required certifications: Active RN license in good standing, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI
• Basic respiratory care knowledge required for breathing treatments, ABGs, BiPAP, and travel vent
• Must be able to work with minimal oversight
• Work alongside tenured RNs and CC Paramedics only
• May be floated to other ERs within the health system as needed
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Work with various equipment including respiratory equipment (Parapac Plus travel vent and Phillips V60 for BiPaP), EKG, GE Cardiac Monitoring, Alaris IV Pumps, Lucas device, and Lifepak Defibrillators
• Required uniform: Navy scrubs
• 24/7 security available in the emergency department
