RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a medical surgical unit with 18-bed capacity
• Patient ratios: Nursing 1:6, PCTs 1:9
• Day shift staffing includes 1 RN, 2 LPN, 2 PCT
• Night shift staffing includes 1 RN, 2 LPN, 2 PCT
• Every other weekend required, no on-call responsibilities
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCDs, K pads
• Float to medical surgical and inpatient rehabilitation units
• Navy blue scrub color required
• BLS certification required
• Must have medication administration and clinical assessment experience
• Preferred experience with NG tubes, feeding tubes, Foley catheters, surgical drains, wound care, and IV fluid/medication administration
• Perform typical procedures including surgical assessments, post-operative care, and patient teaching
• Flexibility required for best personality fit
• Mixed staffing environment with 1 CNC, 5 FT RNs, 2 FT LPNs
