RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work on a 34-bed medical surgical and neuro designated unit with maximum capacity of 43 patients
• Maintain 5:1 patient ratio
• Provide care for general medical surgical patients as well as stroke and neuro patients
• Work with remote tele equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Must have BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke certification and ACLS preferred
• Navy scrubs required as part of dress code
• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Ideal candidate should be upbeat, engaged, and compassionate
• Must be available for 1/5 start date
