Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide CT coverage as backfill position
• Work in a 64-bed hospital with 12-bed adult ICU and 14-bed emergency department
• Perform CT scans primarily for adult emergency department patients with some pediatric scans possible
• Handle adult inpatient scans as ordered
• Operate Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system and FUJI Synapse PACS
• Must have KSBHA license and ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to back up X-ray technologist when they are in the operating room
• Perform typical procedures including CT head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, CTA chest/neck/abdomen, occasional CTA cardiac studies, CT lumbar/thoracic spine, and CT head stroke protocols
• Adapt to varying workload based on emergency department patient volume
• Work collaboratively with other departments
• Must be dependable and prompt
• Required to wear black scrubs (not provided by facility)
• Siemens scanner experience and 2-3+ years of CT experience preferred
