Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position is a backfill travel assignment on Transplant/Stepdown unit
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 patients per RN
• 34-bed unit requiring adaptable, reliable team members who can multitask in fast-paced environment
• Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Must have experience caring for patients with Heparin drips and PCA pumps
• Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Solid organ transplant experience (kidney, liver, or pancreas) highly preferred
• Perform typical procedures including wound/drain care, wound vac management, chest tube care, and JP drain management
• Work with equipment including bladder scanners, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machines, AccuVein, Virtual Sitter Cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer Lifts, Sara Stedy Lifts, and Sit to Stand Lifts
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Work alongside charge RN and PCTs with staffing adjusted based on patient census

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
