RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assigned to Transplant/Stepdown unit (34 beds, 50 staff members)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-4
• Required experience: Med/Surg/Telemetry background
• Must have experience caring for patients with Heparin drips and PCA pumps
• Preferred experience with Stepdown/PCU and solid organ transplant patients (kidney, liver, or pancreas)
• Perform typical procedures including wound/drain care, wound vac, chest tube, and JP drain management
• Work with equipment including bladder scanners, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machines, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, workstations on wheels, Hoyer lifts, Sara Stedy lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must be reliable, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Location: 5A/6A floors in A Tower
