RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit on the 2nd floor
• 4:1 patient ratio providing personalized care
• Day shift staffed with 4 RNs, PCT, and Unit Secretary
• Typically work every 3rd weekend
• Required certifications: ACLS/BLS and Telemetry experience
• Navy scrubs required as part of dress code
• Work with telemetry equipment and EMR systems
• Care for cardiac patients, ER admissions, and post-surgical patients
• Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Primacor, and Dopamine
• Must have strong time management skills for fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented and friendly personality essential
• Focus on patient experience and teamwork emphasized
• Variety of patients seen, primarily cardiac and surgical cases
