RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in 30-bed acute care unit providing medical-surgical to ICU level care
• Patient ratios: SD/ICU 2-4:1, Med-Surg 5-6:1
• Weekend rotation required: 3 Mondays and Fridays per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage per staffing matrix
• Floating to TCU (Transitional Care Unit) as needed
• Must obtain BLS and ACLS certifications prior to end of orientation
• RNs with ICU/Stepdown experience preferred
• Staff with 1 year med/surg experience preferred
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for nurses
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, lift equipment, and Pyxis
• Utilize Cerner EMR system
• Perform typical procedures: IV starts, CVL, arterial lines, Foley catheters, EKG monitoring, and wound care
• Function in fast-paced, ever-changing environment with Team-Based Care model
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary team meetings with MDs, nurses, case management, pharmacist, and PT/OT
