Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work in a 24-bed radiology department with 14 staff members including radiologists and various imaging techs
• Day shift includes director, radiologist, and 6-7 techs
• Night shift includes charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 techs depending on volume
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Call requirements: 4-6 shifts per month on off days
• Work with all GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scanner procedures, and X-rays
• Create detailed pictures of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment
• Must have ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification, and Florida State DOH License
• Strongly preferred: experience with GE equipment and Meditech
• Required to wear black scrubs (must provide own)
• Must demonstrate strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to multi-task and work with variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients required
