Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - CVICU
Job Details:
• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with 2:1 patient ratio (2 patients per 1 RN)
• 16-bed unit with all RN staff including 1 Charge Nurse per shift
• Required to work 2 weekend shifts biweekly with no on-call responsibilities
• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)
• Ventilator experience and art/central line/chest tube management skills required
• Work with specialized equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes, and ventilators
• Use Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube management
• CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN certifications preferred
• May float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care approach
• RN license required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
