RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on 12-bed Medical/Surgical unit
• Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6, with ability to handle 6:1 ratio required
• Staffing model includes either 2 RNs + 1 PCT or 3 RNs
• EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Must demonstrate strong time management skills and teamwork abilities
• Typical procedures include full assessments, Q8 focused assessments, IV antibiotics, bladder scans, discharge education, and admission assessments
• Self-scheduling available by HR status with 4 guaranteed request-off shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Dress code: Teal or white scrubs required, no offensive tattoos or t-shirts
• Must be upbeat, energetic, and positive personality fit
• New graduate friendly environment with experienced mentors available
• Lower patient acuity makes mornings busy but afternoons manageable

The facility maintains a good mix of experienced nurses with 15-20 years of experience alongside new graduates. The unit operates with highly energetic management and administration who are always willing to help, including a director and 4 clinical coordinators who are frequently on the unit providing hands-on support.
