Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
CT Technologist - CT Tech
Job Details:
• Work night shifts with 7 on/7 off schedule
• Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and assess risk factors
• Explain procedures to patients including side effects, risks, benefits, and alternatives
• Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images as per script
• Review images, make initial observations, and document exceptions from protocols
• Communicate data to radiologist and recognize/respond to medical emergencies
• Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions to patients
• Participate in process improvement activities including quality of care and patient flow
• Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
• Take call/standby as required by the department
• May perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist as needed
• Must have ARRT certification in CT Tech & Radiology
• Must have BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Requires 2 years recent CT & Radiology experience
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be familiar with GE CT & X-ray machines
• Rapid placement requiring ability to start within 2 weeks of offer

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
