RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
• Block requests approved upon request
• Weekend hours as needed
• No call requirements
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Must have current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete course within probation period
• Must complete ACLS course within 12 months if not current
• Float requirements to Med Surg and Telemetry units
• 19-bed unit with average patient ratio of 2-3:1
• Work with medical, basic cardiac, and neuro patients
• Must have critical care experience including post stroke care
• Experience required with titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol)
• Must be proficient with BiPAPs, Airvos, and ventilated compressors
• Ability to recognize deteriorating patients essential
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs, no hoodies, professional scrub attire required
• Self-starter with team work focus preferred
• Medical calculation test preferred
