Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work on a 34-bed medical surgical unit with maximum capacity of 43 patients
• 5:1 patient ratio maintained throughout shifts
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, 1 tech, and 1 unit secretary at max capacity
• Work with remote telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Handle general medical surgical cases as well as stroke and neuro designated patients
• Perform typical medical surgical procedures and provide stroke/neuro care
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIH Stroke certification and ACLS
• Dress code: Navy scrubs required
• Ideal personality traits: upbeat, engaged, and compassionate

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
