RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on a telemetry unit with every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratio of 5:1 in a 10-bed Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must pass Hospital Telemetry Test
• Work with telemetry equipment and Meditech documentation system
• Unit staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 PCT
• Perform general Med/Surg telemetry procedures and lab draws
• Participate in bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding
• May float to other like units or ED for telemetry holds if needed
• Dress code requires navy blue uniforms
• Work in a brand new unit providing 24/7 telemetry monitoring for patients
• Located on 1st floor adjacent to Same Day Surgery
