RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiac Cath & EP lab as part of a 3-person team per patient
• Minimum 1-2 late nights required each week
• Must have experience with circulating, scrubbing, and/or monitoring
• Required to perform ablation procedures including Afib, Aflutter, VT, SVT, and PVC
• Must have experience with LAAO procedures (Watchman, Amulet)
• Required experience with device implants including PPM, ICD, and Bi-V PPM/ICD
• Preferred experience with Loop implant/explant, leadless PPM, and lead extraction
• Work with Philips and GE procedure tables and GE BT22 documentation system
• Use Meditech EMR (transitioning to Expanse July 2025)
• Float to Cath lab or Pre/Post areas based on experience
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Required to adjust setup and working habits to fit lab and physician needs
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Dress code: Seal Blue scrubs
• Typical procedures include ablations, LAAO, and device implants

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a modern Cardiac Cath & EP lab located on the first floor with a minimum of 6 daily staff members. The department operates with advanced equipment including Philips and GE procedure tables and specialized documentation systems. The facility maintains high standards for cardiac care with a focus on complex procedures including ablations, device implants, and left atrial appendage occlusion procedures, providing comprehensive cardiac electrophysiology services to the community.
