Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work in the CT department performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Call requirements of 4-6 shifts per month on off days
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Work with ALL GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Must have ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification, and Florida State DOH License
• GE equipment and Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Perform typical procedures including CT scans, MRI, body scanner, and X-rays
• Create detailed pictures of bones, organs, and tissues to provide accurate assessments
• Work with variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
• Must provide own black scrubs
• Strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude required
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment essential
• Day shift includes director, radiologist, and 6-7 techs
• Night shift includes charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 techs depending on volume

This is a 472-bed acute care medical and surgical facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services. The healthcare complex operates as a teaching facility and ranks among the best in the nation. The radiology department features 24 beds with a team of 14 staff members including radiologists, radiologist techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs working collaboratively to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services.
