RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Patient ratio of 1:6, occasionally 1:7 during surge periods
• 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required
• Must have active compact nursing license at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS and IV certification
• Work on a 36-bed medical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Float to same level of care units as needed
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• Perform procedures including CBI, wound care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson-Pratt), foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs as needed
• Unit staffed with unit secretary during day shift and LNAs for both shifts
• Participate in bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and personal connections with patients
• Scrubs of any color required for dress code
• Self-scheduling available with leadership oversight to balance schedule needs
