RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on 3rd Surgical floor caring for 27 beds with 5-6 RN and 2-3 LNA staff
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse
• Day shift includes Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, and unit Coordinator (Monday-Friday)
• Night shift includes Charge RN, RNs, and 2-3 LNAs
• Care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgery (knees, hips, shoulder, cervical) and bariatric procedures
• Work with equipment including Hoyer lifts, CPM machines, and Code Carts
• Use EMR system for documentation
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• May float to Medical Oncology unit as needed
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience in hospital setting required
• Preferred: 2+ years experience in med surg, orthopedics, or bariatrics
• Must work collaboratively with team members and maintain patient focus
• BLS certification required
• No specific scrub color requirements
