RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Travel assignment in a 52-bed emergency department
• Patient ratios average 3:1, low acuity up to 5:1, pediatrics handled through team nursing approach
• Work with Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH
• Kansas nursing license required
• Experience in traveling or working at large facility areas required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Experience in 52-bed emergency room or larger preferred
• Perform typical emergency department procedures including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
• Must be able to maintain fast-paced emergency department environment
• Expected to scan patients and medications every time per unit policy
• Work alongside diverse, experienced team in fast-paced environment

The emergency department is staffed with experienced healthcare professionals including charge nurses, staff nurses, technicians, unit clerks, physicians, and mid-level providers to ensure comprehensive patient care around the clock.
