RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work four 9-hour shifts per week in the stress lab unit
• Maintain 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratios in a 3-bed unit
• 2 years of hospital setting experience required
• Must hold active Virginia nursing license at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPR
• Work with GE monitors and stress treadmills
• Use Maclab and Expanse documentation systems
• Perform 6-10 procedures per day including cardioversion, TEE, and conscious sedation
• Experience required in conscious sedation, cardiac care, telemetry, and cardioversion/TEE
• Work closely with RNs, echo techs, EKG techs, and unit director
• No floating required
• Dress code: Ceil blue or navy scrubs
• Must demonstrate good bedside manner and respectful communication

This medical center campus features a specialized stress lab unit located in the Levinson building. The facility operates a close-knit 3-bed unit that maintains strong relationships with the cardiology department. The stress lab is equipped with modern GE monitoring equipment and stress treadmills, utilizing advanced documentation systems for comprehensive patient care. The unit emphasizes quality patient experiences and maintains a collaborative work environment with experienced healthcare professionals.
