Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-procedure room cardiac catheterization laboratory on the 1st floor of the main building
• Team consists of 3 team members for each patient procedure
• One full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule
• Day shift includes 1 supervisor, 4 RNs, and 2 Cath Lab Techs
• Night shift operates with on-call staff only (2 RNs and 1 Cath Lab Tech or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Techs)
• Work with Phillips and Siemens Fluoro equipment
• Use MERGE Hemo Cath Lab documentation system and Meditech EMR
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, TX license
• Hospital provided sky blue scrubs required
• Floating to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed
• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker/ICD procedures, Watchman procedures, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Must be a team player and flexible
• Follow procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderated sedation guidelines
