RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ED Hold

Job Details:

• Work with ED hold patients on telemetry/med surge unit
• Handle 18-40 bed unit with 6:1 patient ratios
• Work with day shift team including charge nurse, bedside nurses, PCT, and unit coordinator
• Work with night shift team including charge nurse, bedside nurses, and PCT
• Use Baxter IV pumps and GE telemetry equipment
• Work with Meditech 5.6 EMR system
• Perform non-titrating cardiac drips procedures
• Float to med surge units and telemetry units as needed
• Rotate weekends as required
• Must maintain easy going, friendly, and flexible personality
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Texas nursing license
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
